Cleanse the skin
Start with washing your face and neck with a good facial cleanser to remove any grime or dirt.
Rub a gentle amount of exfoliating facial scrub with your fingers in a circular motion on your face. Focus on the areas around your nose and forehead. Those with combination skin (dry and oily), should work on the problem areas. Rinse your face thoroughly and pat dry.
Sweat it Out
There are several ways to steam your face. You could purchase a, Thermal Facial Spa or Facial Sauna System, we like to keep things simple. Just fill a pot large enough to fit your head and boil the water over the stove. Once at a slight boil, turn off the stove, and place your head over the water with a towel over your head. Allow the steam to seep into your pores for a good 10-15 minutes.
Put on a Mask
For oily skin, use a clay-based face mask. Avoid the areas around the eyes, and keep it on for 10-15 minutes (or, follow the directions on the product), and rinse completely.
Apply a soothing, moisturizer over your face and neck.
