Alongside some of the finest barbecue from Hometown Bar-B-Que (54 Van Brunt St, Redhook – Brooklyn), bagpipes and banjos for entertainment, Glenfiddich’s 6th ever Malt Master Brian Kinsman and Paul McLaughlin of the Kelvin Cooperage, who has been supplying Glenfiddich with its American Oak barrels for many years, lead a tasting that journeyed through the evolution of Single Malt Scotch whisky.
The Glenfiddich team curated a tasting that showcased when American whisky began to play a role in Scotch whisky and explain how the Bourbon industry has shaped the flavor profiles that we know today.
