The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky and Anthony Bourdain invite you to celebrate the opening of the 2015 Rare Craft Collection’s multi-city tour. The tour kicks-off in NYC October 5th and then heads to Chicago and Houston in November and December. The The Balvenie is dedicated to the five rare crafts that are used to create The Balvenie’s distinctive taste. It is the only distillery that still grows its own barley, uses traditional floor maltings and keeps both coppersmiths and coopers on site – making The Balvenie the most handcrafted of malts.
This special collection curated by Anthony himself, The Balvenie Rare Craft Collection brings together five remarkable craftspeople (a blacksmith, luxury watchmaker, letterpress, a stone-carver and a cooper) together to showcase their creative process, and personal stories that fits the Balvenie brand.
