It is rare that I get excited about new skincare product launches. It is even rarer that I get to test out the product while it is still in its product development stages. My good friends over at Brooklyn Grooming reached out to me to get my opinion on three new products they were thinking of releasing at the time. Of course, I said yes. I received the samples, tried them out, and gave feedback on each one. Fast forward a few months, I received another package. I opened it up, and there they were. The same products I had the pleasure of testing months before, were now on the market. I was curious to see what had improved or changed based on my feedback.
The first product is a unisex facial serum made with Blue Tansy essential oil. The scent is woodsy, floral, and slightly citrusy. Your skin will carry a healthy glow after you use this product. The serum is a natural bright blue color and priced at an affordable $18 for .5 oz. and $26 for 1 oz. It’s also one of the first unisex blue tansy facial product on the market.
The second is a product I am excited over. BK Grooming’s Recovery oil is ideal for runners, athletes, boxer, and any active person looking for aid in muscle recovery. Made with a combination of six various herbs and essential oils, this natural healing oil smells like a getting lost in an evergreen forest versus an over-the-counter cough drop.
The last product is their upgraded Machine oil: An anti-chafing oil perfect for runners, hikers, climbers, and anyone prone to chaffing. I’ve mentioned this product in the past, but now it comes stored in a cool matte black flask and made with organic botanicals and oils.
I won’t say BK Grooming took all my feedback into consideration. However, given the fact that the scents more aromatic and the facial serum providing the right amount of luster, I should pat myself on the back. 🙂
