Recently, I’ve been in a creative slump. I wasn’t satisfied with the work I was doing. Traveling always ignites that creative spark for me. I decided to take a trip to ATL. However, I needed a comfortable and functional outfit. Most people don’t care about what they wear on the plane. Sweats and a pullover hoodie is fine for some. I’ve experienced getting off the plane and having to directly attend a meeting in the same casual outfit. I wasn’t prepared and I told myself I wouldn’t let it happen again. My attire needed to be easy to help me focus. Since I partnered with Banana Republic before, it was a no-brainer that I check out some of their travel-inspired clothing.
I focused my attention on the motion/performance category. You can’t go wrong with keeping it simple. Navy blazer and grey trousers always work. This navy, slim fit motion stretch jacket is designed to move with you. Made with a breathable, all-season wool blend this blazer is great for the seasons ahead. The butterfly lining at back keeps you cool in warm temperatures.
The trousers fall under the same category. Slim in fit and fully equipped with the motion stretch technology as the blazer. One thing I underestimated was the amount of stretch that’s inside these trousers. I hate having to worry about not being able to move while on the plane. I never had a second thought while wearing these pants.
If you are a jet-setter I strongly recommend having a go-to outfit like the one I am wearing above that will allow you to be comfortable without sacrificing style.
