They Say: “The first foaming body wash from Dove Men+Care instantly hydrates skin with a rich lather that thoroughly cleanses and rinses off with ease. Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort Foaming Body Wash is the key for healthy looking, clean skin.”
The Test: “All it takes is three steps to instantly hydrated skin. Pump for foam, work the lather and rinse off with ease.”
As accurate as the above statement is, I didn’t experience a decent amount of hydration from this body wash. This foaming body wash is with Nutrium Moisture™ technology, which is design to retain the skin’s natural moisture. I had to use 5 pumps just to feel the “moisture.” The lather was instant, and the scent was clean and crisp. Like most of the Dove+ Men’s products, I don’t get attached to the smell, because I know it doesn’t last long. Which is good if you use other fragrances post-shower.
We Say: Is this a bad product? For the guy who wants healthier looking skin and a product that doesn’t contain sulfates, this foaming body wash is perfect. I’ve been using another body wash that includes sulfates so my skin might be conditioned to the feel of artificial versus natural ingredients. The Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort Foaming Body Wash didn’t leave my skin feeling like a desert. I personally LIKE more moisture for my skin, and this didn’t provide it for me with the recommended three pumps.
