It’s rare that you find a quality, affordable garment that you can purchase off the rack and wear without having to make that extra trip to your tailor. Spectre and Co. was designed for the modern man who enjoys the slim fit of a Ludlow shirt, but only wants to spend half of the price. Following the same modern slim framework, higher arm holes and a slightly wider chest structure as other credible brands on the market, Jeffrey Zhang created Spectre and Co. to fill the void of affordable shirting on the market that still have the same quality of a luxe garment.
We met Mr. Zhang some months back and discussed various ways to collaborate on a few projects. So it was only natural that he called on Sean Riojas and myself when it came time to shoot his fall lookbook.
Jeffrey had a vision of the modern, young Wall Street for the shoot. He felt the aesthetic of South Street Seaport would be the perfect spot for the inspiration and we agreed. The cobblestones, boat docks and architectural design of financial buildings all embodied the vision that Mr. Zhang had in mind.
