What: Next month starts Black History Month and Nike has decided to offer customers some tangible goods to honor it. Nike just unveiled its new 2015 Black History Month collection (BHM). Toning things down from 2014’s colorful collection, the new limited-edition offering follows a more minimalist route. The black and white color combination, showcases numerous prints and designs throughout the collection. The BHM collection highlight six athletes and coaches who have positively impacted the sports world with their own level of courage and determination. The list includes the following:

  1. Theotis Beasley,
  2. Kevin-Prince Boateng
  3. Jerry Rice
  4. Brianna Rollins
  5. C. Vivian Stringer
  6. John Thompson

The BHM collection mainly consisting of basketball sneakers and apparel, the collection offers footwear options from the brand’s Sportswear, Soccer and SB divisions as well. The BHM  line includes the following silhouettes below:

Why: A portion of proceeds from the BHM Collection goes towards the Nike Ever Higher Fund*which supports organizations that influence the power of sports to maximize the potential of underserved youths.

Where: The BHM collection will be available globally at nike.com and select retail locations.
