Watch Gang Brings Together Novice Watch Lovers and Enthusiasts

I have a few watches that I’ve accumulated over the years but  never considered myself a collector. I felt that way because I don’t have the resources to collect the kinds of watches  I want.  Watch Gang wants to change that mindset. What is Watch Gang (WG)? In short, Watch Gang partners with watchmakers all over the world to bring watch lovers and enthusiasts a new timepiece to flaunt on their wrist. This sign up process is straightforward. You pick out a few watch styles that speak your personality, style, lifestyle, etc. You enter your billing and shipping information and that is it, your new watch will be on its way.  Some of the watches start at $300 and could range up to a few thousand. It all depends on the month.

My first timepiece from WG is from Blackwell Watches. Inspired by NYC’s iconic clocks, each collection is categorized by zip code. This watch is from the “Project 10010” collection. This collection reveals the intimate, highly-spirited way of life in Manhattan’s famous Stuyvesant’s Square and its surrounding neighborhood. Situated at the heart of 15th Street, 17th Street, Rutherford Place, and Nathan D. Perlman Place, this park symbolizes a rich blend of its past, and present memoirs merged with people’s convivial everyday-life scenarios. I never heard the brand before, but I do like the look and feel of this watch. Unforuntaley, I am not a fan of the mesh bands but that leads me to what I like about WG.

Watch Gang understands you might not be a fan of the monthly timepiece. They created a social exchange program which allows you to trade with other WG members. This way, members get a feel of how the financially inclined collectors trade without the commitment.

Is Watch Gang for the Rolex, Tag Heuer, Richard Millie watch collectors? Far from it, however, Watch Gang is an excellent way for the entry-level collectors to get firsthand experience in collecting.
